Freedom is a precious commodity. If you could ask a slave bound to a toilsome
life what his freedom is worth, he would say it’s priceless. We too were slaves once, when we lived in
darkness far from the liberty that Christ supplies. But it was for freedom that Christ set us free. He freed us because of His great love. Now we can sing praises to the Master. Now we can dance with our feet no longer
bound with chains.
If you sense in your heart that freedom for you has been elusive,
cry out the Eternal God. Ask Him to
bring you this gift worth more than gold.
You can have the freedom to enter the presence of the King. You can rejoice in His saving grace. Just confess your sins to Him with a heart of
repentance and embrace His forgiveness and freedom. Christ purchased your emancipation on the
cross. If you turn to Him my friend, you
will never be the same.
