Your name is a strong tower
A safe place
Where we find Your grace
You are The Lord Our Peace
Where we learn to be content
Where we rest at ease
You are The Lord Our Righteousness
Where we stand free
From the penalty of sin
We walk tall
You cause us to win
You are The Lord Our Banner
You cause us to be champions in the fight
Victors over the emissaries of the night
You are The Lord Our Shepherd
Our needs are fully met in You
You satisfy our hungry hearts
You fill us with Your truth
You are the Lord Our Healer
You bring the remedy
Healing us when we are sick
You’re the balm of surety
You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
We bow before You
Father, Son, Spirit we adore You
There is none like You
In heaven or in earth
Your Word is sure
You are altogether holy and pure
Your name is a strong tower
A safe place
The righteous run to it
And find grace
They find all they need
In Your holy name

The Call
Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Mark 1:17
The call of the early disciples echoes in our hearts when we turn to Christ. We have been chosen to follow after the footsteps of Jesus. We have been commissioned to tell others about the life-saving power of the gospel. When we make it our goal to know our Lord and to follow after His ways, spreading the good news comes naturally. When we are full of Jesus, we spill over into other people's lives. When we live the message, we become proclaimers of the message both by our example and by the words we communicate. God has called us to follow after Him.
Let's ask the Holy Spirit to fill us afresh and anew. Let's make it our goal to live out the Scriptures in our daily lives. Let's ask the Father to fill us with a passion for souls. The disciple's dropped their nets and followed Jesus. Let's lay aside everything that hinders us from His call on our lives. And let's run after Him with complete abandon.

The Gift of Prayer
Sometimes all we can do is pray
For that lonely one
That wayward son
Sometimes the greatest gift you can give is to pray
So the Father can wipe her tears away
So the Potter can soften the heart of hardened clay
To pray
Is to move mountains of fear
Draw the spiritual foreigner near
Some would say that prayer is insignificant
Such a little thing
Like dust in the wind
But prayer is not the least of the blessings we can give
Intercession is a wonderful gift
That transforms lives
Even our own
For that lonely one
That wayward son
Sometimes the greatest gift you can give is to pray
So the Father can wipe her tears away
So the Potter can soften the heart of hardened clay
To pray
Is to move mountains of fear
Draw the spiritual foreigner near
Some would say that prayer is insignificant
Such a little thing
Like dust in the wind
But prayer is not the least of the blessings we can give
Intercession is a wonderful gift
That transforms lives
Even our own
