How Can They Hear

Here are some thoughts about being a witness for Christ...

How can they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14-15

How can they know unless someone brings the message and explains?

We should strive to leave uncommon lives as we follow the steps of Christ.

But Jesus did not only live a godly life, He spoke about the kingdom of God. He pointed the way.

Let’s choose to live out the Christian life, but let’s also tell others of God’s precious gift.

 

We don’t have to be Bible scholars to be people of influence.

You can start by just telling your story. Let others know how you came to follow Jesus.

Ask God to use you in this way. Let His boldness enliven you.

All God is asking us for are small steps of obedience.

Would you be one to reach your world? With God, all things are possible.

If He can use me, He can use anyone.

You Satisfy

 

 

In the center of my soul

There is a longing

A void to be filled

What or who can fit perfectly within?

Can an admirable lover be enough to satisfy?

Can this world’s goods fill this emptiness?

What about success and fame – to be esteemed by men?

Alas, I am unfulfilled. Nothing satisfies.

 

But You laid aside Your great position to become a man.

You died and rose again.

Now, You offer me eternal life.

You are the perfect fit.

You are the answer to my ache within.

Jesus, You are the all sufficient one. You satisfy my soul.

Little Child

 You dwelt in heaven from eternity past

You are the first. You are the last.

The Word made flesh. You lived among us.

Came as a baby. Came to save us.

 

Sweet infant brow will one day be pierced with thorns

That day the Father will turn his head from his own

That day Life will bow in death

Only to be raised like leaven bread

 

Little child beneath a star

We know who you are

Though once veiled before our eyes

By grace we see and also come alive

Little child whom wise men seek

They brought him gifts

With hearts noble and meek

We too should honor this King of Kings

With gifts of love to Him we bring

Born to die this sacrificial Lamb

Born in a stable the Great I Am
